Transformers 4 Spoilers: Michael Bay is the first filmmaker to use IMAX's new 3D digital camera for his newest installment of Transformers, according to the report made by the blog Film Bay.

This only means that Transformers 4: Age of Extinction will be shot using the cutting edge cinema production technology, the camera used in filming will be the first of its kind. You can expect great visual effects once the movie is shown in the theaters.

The blog explains that the newest IMAX 3D camera offers a full height aspect ratio without being too bulky. The newest IMAX 3D camera is relatively smaller and lighter than the other IMAX 3D cameras and is expected to be used more in the future. However, there no 2D digital IMAX camera yet, but IMAX is on its way to developing one.

In other news, Empire magazine has recently revealed Optimus Prime's new robot mode, where a mini synopsis from the film was also unveiled in the publication:

"This fourth film in the franchise is something of a fresh start, and sees an Earth scarred by the events of the last three films but moving on after the disappearance of all giant robots. When Mark Wahlberg's inventor, Cade Yeager, discovers a buried Transformer, the stage is set for the return of the giant beasties."

Earlier this month, a video from the set in Hong Kong was leaked online suggesting that Autobots leader Optimus Prime will die in the new film. A translation of the video's voiceover revealed that Prime is bidding farewell to his human ally Cade and the rest of the Autobots.

"There remains a price on my head, and I risk endangering you if I stay. Cade when you find the remaining stones, mark one as my soul. Defend this family Autobots, as they have you, goodbye, don't forget me."
