Nokia Lumia 925 Review, Specs: 4.5-inch Device W/ AMOLED Display, WP 8, High-Res 8.7MP Camera & 1GB RAM, A Beauty At $400

Nokia Lumia 925 review, specs: Nokia has been aggressive in launching handsets that’s both eye-catching and powerful and the Nokia Lumia 925 is not far from one of those devices that bears the Nokia approach on handsets. The 4.5-inch handset was announced May 2013 with, in Nokia’s word, it’s “gorgeous design” and “latest PureView camera innovations.”

Specs of the Nokia Lumia 925 include 4.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of 334 ppi. The 925 display is multi-touch and has a light sensor, proximity sensor and a scratch-resistant glass. The device also sports a 8.7MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, dual LED flash and optical image stabilization. The unit has 16GB storage and a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor powered by 1GB RAM. Phone Arena pegs the talk time for the device at 18.3 hours with an average of 12 hours.

According to CNET, the pluses of the Nokia Lumia 925 is its sleek, slim and partially aluminum build. The camera takes great shots, as expected from most Nokia devices and especially in low light conditions. Phone Arena inputs the big display, high-resolution and high pixel density of the device as a huge plus. Nokia Lumia 925 is also NFC-enabled, has fast mobile data support, a good amount of RAM and great processor.

One thing the device lacks s MicroSD support, keeping it from expanding at 64GB storage, like some competing devices. In terms of its physical look, the Lumia 925 is a little wide and squat, notes CNET, and the sharp corners diminish handheld comfort.

The $400 price of the Nokia Lumia 925 gives a high-end Windows Phone experience, notes CNET. But the tech site suggested that those looking for much higher pixels should still go for the Nokia Lumia 1020.
