Motorola Razr i Review, Specs: 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Display, 2GHz Processor & Up To 64GB Storage; An Affordable, Useful Old Model But W/ A Weak OS

Motorola Razr i review (Last updated 12/7/2013) : Motorola Razr is was a breakthrough handset in its time. It’s the first smartphone to have clocked at 2.0 GHz in its stock configuration and was an Android-powered unit that carried a lot of promise. It was officially launched Sept. 2012.

Specs of the Motorola Razr i include a 4.3” edge-to-edge Super AMOLED display and a snappy 8MP camera, according to Phone Arena. It’s battery power of 2,000 mAh battery allow all day smartphone computing and it’s 5GB internal storage is expandable to 32 GB with Micro SD support. This unit also has 1GB of RAM. The unit is waterproof and has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity options. It’s equipped with Android 4.1 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The pros for the unit, in a review by Phone Arena is its big display, 1GB of RAM and a 4G mobile support. It’s also NFC-enabled and splash-proof. The smartphone has very good specs even for a market with newer generation models. It’s price point of $300 is very competitive.

According to Tech Radar, opting for the Motorola Razr i is like “getting a top smartphone that leaves you enough change left over for a cod and chips on the way home - and with a battery life to put others to shame.”

The main downside for the Motorla Razr i are the possibility for official updates. International Business Times noted that Motorola has not canceled any updates on older devices, so plans for an Android 4.3 update remains a mystery.

A quick search on Google shows that there are several ways to snag an Android 4.3 ROM update, but as usual, these things need too be applied to any handset with caution.
