The nominees for next year's Golden Globe awards have been revealed and one of the names that made the loudest buzz is Tatiana Maslany of BBC America's Orphan Black. The announcement of the names included in the world's most prestigious entertainment giving body has always left fans very excited but on Wednesday, no one is happier than those who have followed Orphan Black and Tatiana Maslany. Hashtags #OrphanBlack and #TatianaMaslany even trended on Twitter after the revelation.

This is the first time that Tatiana landed on the list of Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama. The 28-year old actress beat the likes of Claire Danes (Homeland) and Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad) to have a chance to compete against Kerry Washington (Scandal), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife), and Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black).

Over the web, fans and some entertainment pundits were quick to say that Tatiana's nomination is long overdue.

The Globe and Mail news portal said that the Canadian actress is "highly deserving of a best actress nomination for her complex role."

Although a bit surprised, Kristin Dos Santos of E! Online said that she is thankful that Tatiana at the Golden Globes has finally happened, adding that she was the "biggest oversight from the 2013 Emmys, and the 2014 SAG Award nominations."

Orphan Black is about a woman who assumed the role of a clone she just discovered but got tangled into a whole lot of trouble after discovering that there are more people that look exactly like her. During the first season, Maslany convincingly played at least six different roles: con artist and thief, a police detective, a suburban woman, a geeky PhD Biology student, a psychotic assasin, and a Neolutionists.

Portraying six different personalities in a one-hour show is no easy feat. Congrats Tatiana Maslany for the nomination.
