Elder Scrolls Online Release Date Version Includes Free Trials For Xbox Live Players? Bethesda Considers Possible Feature

Elder Scrolls Online developer Bethesda is mulling over the idea of free trials for Xbox Live players, OXM.com reports, leaving many fans wondering if the feature will be available upon the game's release date.

Bethesda representative Pete Hines said "well, yeah," last time OXM asked whether the company had considered trials as a means of enticing console players who aren't comfortable with the idea of a monthly subscription, the website also reports.

Although some hints at a free trial on traditional consoles were made, he assured the site that the game may be tempting enough in itself.

The highly-anticipated game will be available on April 4, 2014 and its Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions will be available two months afterward.

Alongside the announcement, Bethesda released a new trailer for the upcoming subscription-based game, highlighting the conflict between The Elder Scrolls Online's three factions and the massive PvP battles that follow, GameSpot.com writes.

Elder Scrolls Onlinedeveloper Bethesda revealed during a recent question-and-answer segment with fans that gamers will be able to re-spec their character's attributes and skill points, Joystiq.com reports.

"You'll be able to re-allocate attribute or skill points. To do so, you'll need to visit a shrine and pay a fee in gold. You could, however, just decide to start taking your character in a different direction, and you'll likely garner all the points you need to do so as you progress," the developers revealed in their "Ask Us Anything" online question-and-answer segment.

"Abilities will morph when you reach a certain level with them. Morphing does require you to spend a skill point, though, so there is a cost associated with it."
