Captain America 2 Spoilers: New Footage Released Suggests That Crossbones Would Play A Big Role In 'The Winter Soldier'

Now as the team is assembled to take on the big screen, everything seems to get bigger and bigger. Revelations and speculations here and there, greatly showing how much fans are looking forward for to see the next installment of Captain America, but everything remains on the wraps.

With the powerhouse cast, Robert Redford certainly took the lead. Surprisingly he signed on not only to appear in Captain America 2, but to a supposedly small role. Marvel caught a big fish in the sea, the perfect actor to play the role of a head in an unstable government organization.

During his interview with The Straits Time, Redford spills some juicy revelations about the upcoming sequel. He opened up about how he wanted to constantly challenge himself through the roles that he's playing in the films.

It seems like Redford's role as a superior to Col. Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson, in the S.H.I.E.L.D agency is nothing vital on the storyline, but as he discuss his role on the upcoming sequel that might about to change.

"I think a career requires a certain amount of reinvention. If you get caught in one track I think that can be dangerous. Success has a dark side to it. you want to be careful if you've had success at something, that you not try and follow it by just duplicating it. That's why I'm doing this Captain America thing."

As expected, a great veteran actor is full of wisdom that entices a positive outlook at the comic book that's becoming a craze in the movie industry.

Captain America 2 Spoilers Alert! The next statement of the veteran actor would definitely blow your minds!

"I like the idea of playing a villain...I did that just because it's a different thing for me to do."

But before you jump from your seat, bear in mind that Redford could very well mean something else. Perhaps Steve Rogers could see him as a villain in the organization, a freakishly controlling boss of some sort. A lot of employees see their bosses as villains right?

But we cannot discount the fact that this movie is about a "political thriller" as described by Kevin Feige. The scriptwriters also described it as a "conspiracy story" that will about to unfold the loyalties for the next Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

Surely, if these spoilers are correct Marvel is up to coming more twisted in its next films. These spoilers could very well correlate with the previous rumors that Bucky Barnes will replace Steve Rogers as the next Captain America.
