Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard was spotted looking sad and lonely in NYC, while she's split apart from her boyfriend until he finishes filming the movie "Mortdecai" in London.

Cheer up, Amber Heard! We're sure Johnny Depp will be back to join his girlfriend for the holidays.

As The Daily Mail reports, Amber Heard look somber and alone while walking her tiny dogs down the streets of East Village in NYC on Monday. Amber Heard was wearing a long, gray wool coat tied tightly around her waist, with her hands in the pockets. She also wore black jeans and black boots, with her blonde hair hanging limp around her makeup-free face.

Perhaps Amber Heard was missing her boyfriend, Johnny Depp. He is currently in London filming the movie "Mortdecai."

Amber started dating 50-year-old Johnny in 2012 following his split from Vanessa Paradis, who he dated for 14 years. Amber and Johnny met on the set of "The Rum Diaries" in 2011.

Amber recently talked about the benefits of dating someone in the acting industry, in the December issue of Company Magazine.

"It is really hard when you spend your life living out of a suitcase. But it really does weed out superficial people - if someone is still with you after the second movie then they're probably a good one! I like to trust people in general - it's the southern girl in me," Amber told the magazine, The Daily Mail reports.

Amber has been filming the crime thriller "London Fields," which will hit theaters in 2014.
