As the year 2013 comes to a close, Google has released its annual Zeitgeist report, giving us the top 10 Google searches of 2013.

Globally, the top 10 Google searches of 2013 included a nice variety of search terms. Check out the top 10 Google searches below:

Meanwhile, the top 10 Google searches of 2013 for the United States differed somewhat from the global results.

As you can see, while Nelson Mandela made the number one spot globally, the hero has yet to crack the top 10 Google searches in America, at least for 2013.

Other top Google searches of 2013 include, in no particular order, Aaron Hernandez, Miley, Cyrus, Government Shutdown, Black Friday, Jennifer Lawrence, and the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
