UNC vs Texas live stream: Watch online free Wednesday 7:10 ET as North Carolina welcomes the Longhorns into Chapel Hill for their only meeting of the season.

Suspended guard Leslie McDonald will be back Wednesday night for UNC as it looks to avenge last season's loss to Texas.

"I feel like with our team this year, mentally we're there and have built up that mentality that we're going to keep fighting, go to the next play and not worry about the last play," sophomore J.P. Tokoto told ESPN.com.

UNC unexpectedly learned Wednesday it will get half of that duo back against the Longhorns. The NCAA cleared McDonald, whom it said received benefits from "numerous individuals" during this spring and summer, including the use of luxury cars, payment of parking tickets, a cellphone and lodging, according to ESPN.com.

"I feel blessed to play again for Carolina," McDonald, a career reserve who averaged about seven points last year but was set to contend for a starting role, said. "I truly regret putting my family, UNC and my teammates and coaches through this. I apologize to everyone who cares about the University of North Carolina and will do what I can to make up for it."

The 2012-13 top scorer  for UNC, P.J. Hairston is still not playing due to NCAA eligibility concerns.

Texas (9-1), meanwhile, is eager to gain some experience with its next two games coming against Top 25 opponents. The Longhorns, who have yet to play a ranked team this season, return home to face the No. 5 Spartans on Saturday.

"I am excited to see where we are, I am excited to see us continue to grow and do what we have done up to this point," Texas coach Rick Barnes said. "When you talk about building resumes, this is where that comes in. This is a tough opponent, tough place to play, and then we come home and have a tough one."
