‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Movie Poster Revealed; What Does John Green Feel About The ‘One Sick Love Story’ Tagline?

'The Fault in Our Stars' movie poster thrilled the fans of John Green's novel about two cancer-stricken teenagers who found love in an unusual place. Reports claim that the filming in Pittsburgh and Amsterdam for 'The Fault in Our Stars' movie will soon finish.

The official 'Fault in Our Stars' movie poster has been released and it portrayed the novel's lead characters Hazel and Augustus. The movie's tagline was likewise included in the poster: "One sick love story." While others find the tag line common, author John Green liked it.

"That said, I like the tag line. I found it dark and angry in the same way that Hazel is (at least at times) dark and angry in her humor. I mostly wanted something that said, 'This is hopefully not going to be a gauzy, sentimental love story that romanticizes illness and further spreads the lie that the only reason sick people exist is so that healthy people can learn lessons.' But that's not a very good tag line. I like the tag line because it says, literally, the sick can also have love stories. Love and joy and romance are not just things reserved for the well," said Green when asked by a fan about his feelings for the tag line.

The 36-year-old author, who also penned 'Looking for Alaska', 'Abundance of Katherines', 'Paper Towns', and 'Will Grayson', clarified that he did not write the headline.

'The Fault in Our Stars' will be mainly focusing on Augustus and Hazel's relationship and how they're able to live each day knowing that death might soon knock because of their illnesses.

'The Fault in Our Stars' movie is scheduled for release on June 6, 2014 and will be starring Shailene Woodley as Hazel and Ansel Elgort as Augustus. It is directed by Josh Boone of 'Stuck in Love'.
