Entourage Movie Release Date & Casting Rumors: Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski Not Included On The Movie According To Director Doug Ellin
Entourage movie release date revealed by executive producer Mark Wahlberg during his interview on the "Live with Kelly and Michael" show.
"It's happening," Wahlberg answered when he was asked about the highly anticipated film. "We finally got everybody on the same page. It's really exciting...it will probably be out Thanksgiving of next year."
Wahlberg and the rest of the team did have a rough ride before the movie was finalized, nevertheless according to him the, "movie is happening finally. A lot of kicking and screaming but we got it done."
Meanwhile, "Entourage" movie casting rumors are here and there with Kate Upton and Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski being linked in the film.
While, Kate Upton nor the creators of the movie are either denying or confirming the rumors, director Doug Ellin already denied the connection of Rob Gronkowski to the movie.
It was previously reported by TMZ that even though Rob Gronkowski is recovering from a torn MCL and ACL in his right knee, it will not stop him from doing a cameo on the "Entourage" movie, according to his entertainment manager Henry Penzi.
When creator/producer Doug Ellin heard about the news he quickly clarified it saying that it was not true and that he haven't been able to talk to Gronkowski about the said appearance on the movie.
He took to Twitter to clear the news saying, "love Gronk but have never spoken to the man."
He also backed up his tweet by telling The Buzzer on Monday that, "I have never spoken to him and there is nothing written."
He left a message for the Patriots Tight End though saying,
"I love Gronk. He should call me and tell me what he wants to do and we'll see."
He also said that there are no athletes on the line up to make an appearance in the movie as of the moment.
