Dirk Nowitzki will play Friday night for his second game back since coming down with an illness that forced him to miss some time.

"I didn't feel great Monday in practice," Nowitzki, who helped Dallas (15-10) to its fifth win in seven games told ESPN. "We didn't have a game for another two days, so by Tuesday I was a lot better and (Wednesday) I felt fine."

Now that Nowitzki is healthy, Dallas looks for its third straight victory vs the Toronto Raptors on Friday night in Dallas.

Toronto blew a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter on Wednesday vs the Charlotte Bobcats and lost the game in overtime. It was a buzzer-beater by Kemba Walker that gave the Bobcats the victory.

"We need to be more precise and have more attention to detail," coach Dwane Casey said after his team left Walker alone on the final possession.

This game in Dallas is the first of four on the road for Toronto while it's the Mavericks final home game of three straight.
