Lee Min Ho Sets New Weibo Record for the Most Fan Questions in an Hour

On December 21 Korean actor Lee Min Ho set a new record on China's leading social media network, Weibo.
The South Korean star has earned the distinction of receiving the most questions in a one-hour period during his recent interview session on the Chinese micro-blogging site.

Weibo, a SNS system that is essentially a hybrid of Facebook and Twitter, hosted an interview with the popular entertainer on December 21 wherein Lee Min Ho fans asked a reported 530,000 questions.
His agency, Starhaus Entertainment, revealed, "Lee Min Ho had an interview through the Chinese SNS Weibo with his fans. He received 530,000 questions in one hour and set the highest record."
Previously another Korean actor-singer, Jang Geun Suk, set a record after obtaining 430,000 fan questions. EXO's Chinese-language unit EXO-M have also had high numbers in the past, receiving 410,000 questions during their last interview.
Fans reportedly asked a plethora of questions to the Korean star ranging from inquiries about his latest acting projects to his personal life. Some fans even went as far as to ask Lee Min Ho for advice!
Lee Min Ho first rose to massive fame for his role of Gu Jun Pyo in the successful TV drama Boys Over Flowers. He followed that with other hit shows City Hunter and Faith.
As one of Korea's biggest stars, he just wrapped up yet another popular TV series, The Heirs, where he played the male lead Kim Tan.
If Weibo is any indication of Lee Min Ho's range of popularity, he certainly has a long and successful career ahead of him.
All in all, it was a very successful interview session with fans and one that Lee Min Ho is sure to never forget!
