Emma Stone admitted that her boyfriend Andrew Garfield looks and feels like a different person compared to when they first started dating on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man."

Emma Stone revealed that the changes Andrew Garfield has gone through while they have been dating has had a positive impact on the sequel, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."

She explained in an interview with Total Film magazine: "He's grown as a person in the same way you've grown as a person, so I think that lends itself to a character in many ways. He looks different. He seems different."

Emma Stone, 25, and Andrew Garfield, 30, have been dating since 2011, when they met on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man." Andrew Garfield plays Spider-Man/Peter Parker, while Emma Stone plays his love interest Gwen Stacy.

"She saves him more than he saves her," Emma Stone told TV3.ie, referring to their "Spider-Man" characters.

"She's incredibly helpful to Spider-Man... He's the muscle, she's the brains," Emma added.

Emma also revealed dating details about her relationship with Andrew while in Los Angeles. The couple usually live together in NYC.

The Independent asked Emma Stone about her boyfriend Andrew Garfield, and whether their relationship in 2013 has changed her lifestyle.

"It makes being in Los Angeles a lot less fun, because a lot of photographers live there. So that's a little different," Emma said.

"And if I look at blogs or comments - which I have made the mistake of doing, and it's the dumbest thing you can do - the cynic in me just goes nuts. So if I don't look at it, and I just keep focused on myself internally, it's alright. Nothing is different because I know my truth, and that's what matters," she added.

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" hits theaters April 18, 2014.
