Clash Of The Titan 3 Movie Might Not Happen Anytime Soon; Another God-Centric Movie Though Is Something Fans Can Await. What Is It?

To the fans of Persues in the Clash and Wrath of the Titans, looks like you need to make yourself feel contented with two 2-hour clips of Sam Worthington. According to film producer Basil Iwanyk, a third film for the fantasy-adventure is unlikely.

Speaking to IGN, Iwanyk said that:

"Not at this point, but you never know. In terms of Clash of the Titans 3, it's one of those situations where we've seen it a million times; a movie will kind of float away and then come back when it's supposed to come back. You'd think that there was three and a half, four years of nonstop Clash of the Titans activity, and I think it is, "Okay, what's the new idea? How do you make it fresh?" You know, a lot of movies have come out in that world, including Immortals and 300. So there will be a time and place where someone will come up with a great idea for it and how to make it feel different and fresh from the previous ones. Then we'll hopefully move forward on that."

Although he already ruled out the possibility of Clash of the Titans 3, the producer assured fans that they'll get something that is as epic as the story of Perseus and other gods in Greek mythology.

That movie is the Gods of Egypt, which will star Gerard Butler. On the same interview, Iwanyk shared that they will start filming Gods of Egypt by March next year.

As the title suggests, this movie is about ancient Egyptian deities who went into war. Although Clash, Wrath and Gods of Egypt are all about mythical creatures, Iwanyk said they are entirely different.

"Clash was a very serious movie. Gods of Egypt I think is a lot more Raiders and Pirates than it is those movies. But it's an incredible world. So yeah, that goes on March 23rd."
