Brooklyn Nets Joe Johnson Agrees With Kevin Garnett's Comments About Teams Lack Of Identity; Did He Ask For A Trade?

Brooklyn Nets is believed to be a team built to win NOW. However, after two months, the team is yet to be identified as a serious title contender. After a humiliating loss against the Chicago Bulls, guard Joe Johnson has been added to the list of Nets who spoke something ill against their team.

Team captain Deron Williams called the team soft after a home-loss in the Game 7 of last season against Rose-less Bulls. For Kevin Garnett, the Nets lack identity.

Johnson couldn't agree more on Garnett's tirades after being clobbered by the visiting Bulls on Christmas day.

"He's probably right," Johnson said. "I don't think we kind of know or understand what kind of team we are, offensively or defensively, so it's hurt us in a lot of games. We've lost a lot of close games. It's definitely hurt us. I don't know when we're going to figure it out, or how we're going to figure it out, but we have to."

Before the game versus Chicago, Garnett has called on his teammates to make a valid effort in playing.

"Obviously you want to respond in the best way you can," Garnett said.

"Every guy has to look himself in the mirror and see what he can do better and try to bring that effort that's going to make this team better."

He also hit back at Coach Jason Kidd's opinion saying his players are being too complacent, reason why their losses pile up.

"I'm not built like that, nor do I think my teammates are built like that," Garnett said.

"Obviously we're going through a tough time and that's his assessment, but I don't think that's true."

Brooklyn Nets currently holds a 9-19 Win-Loss record and sits at 12th place in the Eastern Conference. Things might not look nice for them in the next few days as they are slated to face top teams like Indiana Pacers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and San Antonio Spurts in their next four games.
