L.A. had its five-game winning streak snapped on Christmas while Portland has won six of its last seven. This could be a fired up Clippers team vs the Trail Blazers as Blake Griffin was tossed out of last night's game against the Golden State Warriors when he was handed his second technical foul. It was with 10:43 left in the fourth quarter when Griffin got into a scuffle with Andrew Bogut.

"If you look at it, I didn't do anything and I got thrown out of the game. It all boils down to they (referees) fell for it," Griffin told ESPN.com. "To me, it's cowardly basketball. I don't know their intentions, but it worked. ... If I knew the answer I'd probably be in a different position. Tonight I got two technicals for nothing."

Portland is getting scoring from all positions as its starters all average in double figures.

"You're at your best when you're not worried about what someone's saying about your offensive game," said guard Wesley Matthews, shooting a career-high 43.8 percent on 3-pointers to lead the team. "There are structures and guidelines, but he trusts us enough to make the right plays out there."
