Group EXO has become the first million seller in 12 years, making this year a special one.

As of today, their first album, XOXO, has sold over a million copies, including both their album and repackage album.

The last time an artist passed the million mark was back in 2001 by g.o.d and Kim Gun Mo. Since then, no one has been able to pass this milestone.

This year, EXO has finally beat the record in 12 years and has sold over a million copies in one year.

SM Entertainment stated that if they added the copies sold from their winter album as well, they would have sold even more.

EXO expressed their gratitude to their fans and stated that this year would be one to never forget.
