Keira Knightley Twitter Account Vanished Just After 12 Hours From Its Creation; ‘Anna Karenina’ Actress Explains Why She Hated And Deleted Her Account

It might be common for celebrities to have social networking sites specifically Twitter and Instagram but Keira Knightley is different. She chooses to stay away from social networking accounts believing that they give fans the right to attack or ridicule celebrities. However, for the sake of experience, the face of Chanel tried creating an account but just after 12 hours, Keira Knightley's Twitter vanished.

In her latest interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, the 'Star Wars' actress confessed that she once joined Twitter using a fake name but did not like how the account made her feel: "It made me feel a little bit like being in a school playground and not being popular and standing on the sidelines kind of going, 'Argh'".

She likewise talked about how Hollywood perceives her as snobbish: "I like being private. I haven't asked a lot of the actresses who I really admire, 'How do you do it?' because I don't want to know. Maybe I'm childish in that way; I just don't want to know about your life."

Apart from Knightley, Daniel Radcliffe is another hater of social networking accounts. For the 'Harry Potter' actor, celebrities cannot complain that they do not have privacy and at the same time post daily updates on Twitter.
