Dal Shabet Celebrates 3rd Anniversary, Prepares for 'Shocking Transformation' with Their Comeback on January 8

Six-member K-Pop girl group Dal Shabet was the first idol group to debut in 2011, and the ladies are still going strong having just celebrated their third anniversary.

On January 3, members Serri, Ah Young, Jiyul, Woohee, GaEun, and Subin celebrated three years together since their debut in 2011 with the song "Supa Dupa Diva" by having a small party together.

GaEun and Jiyul posted pictures of the smiling group to their Twitter account and received many tweets from followers congratulating the pop group on their milestone anniversary.

Dal Shabet's agency, Happy Face Entertainment, also uploaded a minute and a half long video of the members celebrating and thanking their dedicated fans for all their support over the past three years.

Dal Shabet debuted in the beginning of 2011 after months of rumors that E-Tribe, the hit producers behind many of K-Pop's biggest hits including Girls' Generation's "Gee" and Lee Hyori's 2010 comeback "U-Go-Girl," were preparing to launch a new girl group under their small record label Happy Face Entertainment.

The group saw a decent amount of success with "Supa Dupa Diva" and the song stayed near the top of the charts for the majority of their initial two-and-a-half-month-long promotional period.

Since then, Dal Shabet has released one studio album and six EPs in addition to a handful of soundtrack appearances and a dozen or so music videos.

Dal Shabet plans to continue their anniversary celebrations with a highly anticipated comeback on January 8 with the single "B.B.B (Big Baby Baby)" and what their agency is calling a "shocking transformation."

Congratulations to Dal Shabet on three successful years and stay tuned for the group's comeback later this week!
