Choo Shin Soo will be making an appearance on MBC's hit talk show, "Radio Star".

MBC posted this information on the 6th, which read, "Choo Shin Soo, the recipient of the 7 year/$30 million deal from the Texas Rangers, chose to make his first Korean TV appearance of the year on 'Radio Star.'"

"Radio Star" executives confirmed, saying that Choo Shin Soo chose to appear alone on "Radio Star" for the time being. It will be interesting to see whether he can go against the four emcees who are notorious for attacking their guests with sharp and annoying questions.

Choo Shin Soo will talk about his choice for choosing Texas as his next team, as well as his successful season with the Cincinnati Reds. He expects to make 2014 a record breaking year for himself at Texas and will reveal his plans to get on the books with a new record. He also hinted that he will speak about his friendship with Dusty Baker, his manager with the Reds, and about his wife who helped him weather the less successful years in the MLB.

The special episode of "Radio Star" featuring Choo Shin Soo will air on January 15th.

Many fans responded to the news with comments such as "He's really become a big deal" and "Choo Shin Soo will be ripped apart by the four hosts". It will be interesting to see, to say the least.
