As the New Year begins, major artists like Fall Out Boy and Paramore have announced major summer tours, and 2NE1 will represent the K-pop world by having their second world tour.

According to PR Newswire, Fall Out Boy and Paramore will join together on an epic U.S. tour in 30-plus cities, called the "Monumentour."

Sponsored by Live Nation, the tour will kick off on June 15 in Hartford, CT and sweep across the nation through Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, and more.

Live Nation is also the company which sponsored mega K-pop girl group 2NE1 during their very first world tour, "New Evolution," in 2012. The company has worked with artists like Lady Gaga, Madonna, and U2 to plan world tours across the globe.

For 2NE1, their second world tour will begin on March 1 at Olympics Park SK Handball Stadium in Bang-eedong, Songpa-gu in Seoul. Tickets are expected to go on sale on January 21 and 22.

This world tour is expected to travel across 13 cities in Asia, including Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore, Yokohama, Bangkok, and Manila, and it is also possible that more dates will be added if demand is high.

According to YG Ladies, the new 2NE1 world tour is also expected to garner the interest and efforts of big producers both in and out of Korea, although whether Live Nation is involved remains unconfirmed.
