Wax Releases ‘Coin Laundry’ Music Video

Singer Wax has come back with her new song "Coin Laundry," and released the music video on the 10th.

This music video was put in the charge of visual director Yongee, and takes place in the 70s. It features the pure excitement of a new love at its genesis, and leads to a painful farewell due to unforeseen circumstances.

The main character of the music video are Daniel Choi and Son Soo Hyun. Despite it being their first meeting, they worked well together in acting as lovers in the 70s. They also were able to accurately display the sorrowful emotions of a breakup with their emotional acting using their gaze and shed tears.

The song compares the feelings of wanting to wash away all painful memories of a relationship to the way a coin laundry washes away all unwanted stains. The song is sung from the woman's point of view. The music and video showed harmony and synergy for this song.

This song is a ballad, which is expected of Wax, and is a result of the collaborative effort of the composer/producer project group Ember Glow. Ember Glow is composed of rookie composer Hong Joon Suk and singer turned producer Billy Mohler of The Calling.
