‘K-Pop Star 3’ Park Jin Young Gives Ruthless Criticism

Judge Park Jin Young poured out merciless criticism on Poten's performance. He sure is the toughest judge on "K-Pop Star 3."

On the January 5th broadcast of SBS' survival audition program "K-Pop Star 3," Poten performed Lee Hyori's "Bad Girl." The group is made up of Jun Yoo Hwa, Maeng Jung Eun, Park Da Hye, and Lim Young Eun. But they received some serious criticism for their performance.

Once Poten finished their song, Park Jin Young opened his mouth with a heavy expression on his face. He said, "Didn't you guys practice one week? It seemed like you only practiced for a day." He continued, "The timing has to be right so it doesn't sound messy. But the timing was off between all of you, and it sounded extremely messy," and even pointed out their awkward gestures.

The criticism didn't end there. Yoo Hee Yeol picked up the mic and said, "Your team name is Poten, but you didn't meet your potential. It seemed as if you were all too busy trying to follow the song." He continued, "In a team there has to be sacrifices. But you took turns singing all around, and showed some harmonies here and there" and gave a harsh evaluation.

Even Yang Hyun Suk didn't let them off the hook. He said, "When the 4 of you meet, we expect a score of 10 points, not 4. Today's performance was a 2. If you want to achieve harmony there was to be someone who sings the high and another who sings the lows, but none of it was there."

Will Poten be able to take this criticism and live up to their full POTENtial?
