Anna Chapman dresses to be sold in stores around the country. The Anna Chapman line of casual clothes includes dresses and handbags made to look like books.

The sexy Russian spy says told the Vechernyaya Moskva daily that the collection was "entirely created in Russia. It includes motifs from Russian folk tales and folklore. It would be available in many cities, including Moscow and Sochi"

Anna debuted her new line of dresses and accessories at a fashion show for Turkish brand Dosso Dossi in Antalya, a resort that is popular with Russians.

The fiery redhead Anna Chapman is the daughter of an alleged KGB officer. She got her last name after she married Alex Chapman who she met on a trip to London. New York police accused her of being part of a network of sleeper agents in 2010. After the spy swap, Chapman dabbled in politics, but made a bigger splash doing sexy shoots for men's magazines. The ex-spy currently hosts a TV show about the mysteries of the world.

The brand will be called Anna Chapman. Grigory Belink, a spokesman for the bank where Chapman works as an advisor, Grigory Belkin, told the Interfax news agency "The collection is based around dresses with a price range and styling that is accessible to practically any Russian woman."

Chapman's site says she got the idea for the collection when she was returned to Russia "in just a prison shirt" and couldn't find attractive dresses made locally.

Chapman told the Vechernyaya Moskva daily that the collection was "entirely created in Russia." The collection featured motifs from Russian fairytales and folklore. The dresses and accessories will sold in department stores in cities including Moscow and the upcoming Winter Olympic venue Sochi.

Fashion news website Wday.ru published photographs of her handbags styled to look like copies of classic Russian novels such as Nikolai Chernyshevsky's "What Is to Be Done?"

In 2011 Chapman herself appeared as a catwalk model at Moscow Fashion Week, accidentally dropping a pistol she was brandishing. She has also posed in lingerie for the Russian men's magazine Maxim.

Chapman has retained an enigmatic silence over her past since returning to Russia. She formally works as an advisor to the president of a bank linked to the space sector, FundServiceBank, although her role is unclear. She also hosts a television show about the supernatural. In July, Chapman made headlines when she took to Twitter to propose to U.S. whistleblower Edward Snowden.

Russian fashion experts aren't so sure the new line will do well. Stylist and television host Grigory Lisovets told Vechernyaya Moskva: "I wouldn't say Anna Chapman herself has ideal taste. She wears clothes that are absolutely ordinary."
Fashion historian and collector Alexander Vasilyev told Vechernyaya Moskva "Now a lot of media figures are presenting themselves as designers and couturiers, but this is far from the case. I wish her well but I don't think her collection will be a success."
