Upcoming Huawei Phones 2014: Metal-Clad 5.5" Handset B199 Announced, Boasts Dual-SIM Support, 1.6GHz Quad-Core CPU, 2GB Of RAM At only $330

There are not many upcoming Huawei phones in 2014, though we may expect the Chinese manufacturer to catch up by the time the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona takes place.

And even before the said event, it has already launched a midrange-material Droid that unsurprisingly boasts a very affordable price. Meet the Huawei B199.

Packing a 5.5-inch screen with 720p resolution, the B199 is within the phablet category, and Huawei seems to be liking the attention it has been getting. Aside from the dual-SIM support with dual standby for both CDMA and GSM, the handset also boasts quality specs.

The Android-powered phone sports a quad-core Snapdragon chipset clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a 3,000mAh battery.

As for photography features, the B199 also provides above-average camera resolution as it offers 13MP at the back, and 5MP in front. At the moment, there's no word in which Android version the smartphone will be launched.

According to GSM Arena, the Huawei B199 will begin selling in January 20 in China with a price tag of CNY1,999 or just about $330.
