Jennifer Lawrence’s Boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, Kristen Stewart Have ‘Great Chemistry’ In Love Story ‘Equals’; ‘American Hustle’ Actress Jealous?

Jennifer Lawrence's boyfriend Nicholas Hoult will soon star opposite Kristen Stewart in a new love story movie called "Equals." Should Jennifer Lawrence be jealous of her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult playing Kristen Stewart's love interest in "Equals"?

Jennifer Lawrence was one of the first actresses to read Nathan Parker's script for "Equals," a futuristic love story adapted from the 1956 film adaptation of "1984," a classic novel originally written by George Orwell. Though Lawrence was reportedly moved to tears by the script, she did not think she would fit the role, and it was instead given to "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart, The Huffington Post reports.

"It became evident in my head that Nick and Kristen would have great chemistry," director Drake Doremus said.

Should Jennifer Lawrence be jealous of her boyfriend working so closely with Kristen Stewart? Perhaps Jennifer doesn't want Nicholas to be working with Kristen because of her questionable track record with the men she works with; who can forget the scandal when Kristen cheated on her long-time boyfriend and "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson with their married director, Rupert Sanders?

But Kristen is feeling far from confident about the role opposite Nicholas Hoult.

"I can't believe I agreed to do it," Stewart told The Associated Press on Monday, Jan. 14, Us Weekly reports. "I'm terrified of it. Though it's a movie with a really basic concept, it's overtly ambitious."

"It's a love story of epic, epic, epic proportion," she added. "I'm scared."

"I trust Drake's process and I know we will do something really natural and real," Stewart said. "But I told Drake, 'Don't expect that I am going to be able to do this. It's too hard.' But he wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. I've given directors disclaimers before, but never this much."

And according to Kristen, there's no bad blood between her and the "American Hustle" star.

"I think people assume that actresses don't want to [be friends]," Stewart told MTV News about hanging out with J-Law at the Toronto Film Festival in September. "It was kind of a great feeling, to be honest. I was like, 'This is kind of just awesome.'"
