Android 4.4 KitKat Update For LG G2 Wrongfully Announced By LG Saudi Arabia, Owners Waiting For Android's Latest Version Still In The Dark

Earlier today, LG Saudi Arabia announced via a tweet that LG G2 users in the country can upgrade their phone's Android version to KitKat by the end of January.

But it seems, it has made the wrong announcement.

In a report by GSM Arena, LG Saudia Arabia apologizes for the wrong information it has provided, which sparked false hopes throughout the Android world.

To clarify the announcement, LG Saudi Arabia said that it was referring to the popular Knock feature that will be released to the L series of the flagship Droid. The feature is certainly not a surprise among Android fans as it has already been announced by the Korean manufacturer late last year.

Meanwhile, Android Authority was able to get a video of what appears to be an LG G2 running on Android KitKat.
