Upcoming Android Phones 2014: Oppo Launches Midranger Neo Packed With 4.5" Display, Dual-Core CPU, Costs Only $215
Two weeks into the year and we have already seen a number of upcoming Android phones in 2014. Oppo's Neo is another midranger that will be one of the affordable options for budget-conscious buyers.
Weighing just 130 grams, the Oppo Neo is a light but compact Android phone. Packing 4.5 inches of IPS LCD display with 854 x 480 resolution, the Neo's screen is certainly midrange material.
Oppo's newest handset is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core CPU, Color OS on top of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a 5-megapixel shooter, and a 2MP front cam.
Aside from the usual midrange specs, the Oppo Neo boasts a gesture-based feature that allows interaction with the phone's screen without actual finger contact. No wonder the phone has the motto, "Let your finger talk".
According to a report from GSM Arena, the Oppo Neo will also come with a dual-SIM version and would cost only $215 in Indonesia. There are no details yet regarding an international release.
