After the supposed rendezvous of Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart for Christmas and New Year, which did not actually happened, Rob is now being rumored to hitting their "Twilight" co-star Dakota Fanning.

After tabloids flourishing the two as "secret" couple for the Robsten fan to raise hopes, reports came in that Rob has been spotted having lunch with co-star Dakota Fanning.

As we reported previously, the two did not spend the New Year's Eve celebration together, as Kristen was spotted doing some errands with friends on December 30 - completely impossible for her to catch the New Year's Eve in London even if she took a private jet.

However, Rob was caught dining in Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday at the Juliette restaurant with 10 friends including Dakota Fanning.

However, such claims are now being refuted as the 19-year old actress was just spotted getting cozy with her 32-year old model beau strolling hand-in-hand in the wintry streets of New York.

Dakota Fanning is currently based in New York since, she and her sister "Maleficent" star Elle Fanning had some falling out.

Dakota allegedly left Los Angeles based on a "peace treaty" between the two sisters.

"They have something of a peace treaty, in the sense that Elle gets L.A. to herself, while Dakota is much happier in New York. Dakota is living off of the fortune she made as a child actor, instead of chasing after every big job under the sun," the source revealed on Radar Online.

The sisters are living apart to avoid clashing into one another, as they have developed different ideals and dreams according to reports.

 "Elle is the more ambitious one. Dakota is the one who could quit acting to start a band at the drop of a hat. Dakota is completely unimpressed with the red carpet culture in Hollywood, while Elle totally worships it," the insider added.

Robert Pattinson & Dakota Fanning and the rest of the group reportedly waited for almost an hour and a half before the table was made available to them. They certainly did not take advantage of their celebrity status.

Does Kristen Stewart know about this? Well even if she has no knowledge of the said lunch, it's not unlikely for Rob and Dakota to see each other and to spend time hanging out, as the two were reportedly really close following the filming of "New Moon." They could even be talking about Kristen and how Rob can win her love back.

There is no need for Kristen and the rest of the Robsten fans to worry just yet.
