The Hawks may be red hot at home but still considered inconsistent because of struggling in road games, though they are assigned to be home team in London it may feel different for both teams as they are away from home. They hope to continue their streak playing as host against the Nets.

"We're trying to build something here and we all know it's going to take some time," coach Mike Budenholzer said. "Part of it is the system and part of it is just everything. It takes time to build something that's really successful and something that's sustainable and I think we've made some good initial steps."

"I think the fact it's a regular-season game changes the dynamics a little bit, but there's still a lot of positives for our whole group, spending time together and experiencing another country and another culture," Budenholzer said.

It may be tough for both teams travelling far to play a game especially a regular-season match. The Nets are hoping that the travel wouldn’t affect their game when they fly to Europe for this game.

"It is tough to travel, especially when you travel more than four hours," Nets forward Andrei Kirilenko said. "We spending the majority of our time sitting. This is the problem. You sitting on the plane, you sitting on the bus. Your back gets hurt, stiff. Especially when you're tall.
"It's just tough to prepare yourself after that. I think it's great that we have four or five days in between, so we have a chance to recover."
