The Good Wife Season 5 Spoilers: 'Explosive' Kalinda Storyline, Michael J. Fox To Return, And Christine Baranski Filming 'Into The Woods'

As "The Good Wife" season 5 continues, spoilers regarding the elusive and underused Kalinda have surfaced to encourage disappointed fans.

Recently at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, executive producer Robert King reassured fans that Kalinda which be much more prominent in the second half of "The Good Wife" season 5.

“Kalinda was a little bit adrift in the first half of the year,” said King according to TVLine. “[But] she starts exploding in the second half of the year. Her story starts crystallizing in the back half of the year.”

King admitted that the challenge with Kalinda is “sometimes she can’t live in other stories," so hopefully the spoilers indicate better screentime for the character.

In addition, spoilers confirm that it's possible Kalinda and Cary will rekindle their romantic storyline for "The Good Wife" season 5.

“It’s a version of the hate that Will and Alica have, especially because they’re at [different] firms now. Can they pursue each other? Can they sleep with each other and make that exist? Is there a 'Dangerous Liaisons' aspect to it?" continued King.

"What I liked about it is that Kalinda saw a Cary that had balls and was really attracted to that. So Cary’s going to want to live up to that Kalinda idea of who he is. Cary as a character is sweet, too, but he needs to harden himself.”

In addition, spoilers confirm that Michael J. Fox will likely reprise his role as Louis Canning, given that he is done filming for "The Michael J. Fox Show."

"We're trying to make that work…so it looks like we're going to get a chance to get him back."

Also, Christine Baranski has been noticeably absent, and it's because she is filming "Into the Woods," a movie where "The Good Wife" actress is playing Cinderella's evil stepmother. She will be joined by Emily Blunt and Chris Pine.
