The photographs were taken by Alex Prager, riffing off her most recent series "A Face In The Crowd," The Huffington Post reports.

The photos feature Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen looking up at the camera in the center of a crowd of Portland stereotypes, "emphasizing the bizarre juxtaposition of physical proximity and mental distance," the website notes.

The Huffington Post spoke to Fred Armisen about "Portlandia" season 4, and asked if fans will see more of art-centric sketches, such as "This Is An Art Project."

"Yes there are! The idea of art is definitely addressed. We try to address art and music as much as we can, so there is definitely an art piece coming up," he said.

But Armisen refused to give more details: "The only reason is there is no way that me describing it will be able to do it justice," he explained.

"Portlandia" season 4 premiere date is Thursday, February 27, 2014 on IFC.
