Tyson Barrie scored with 50.7 seconds left in overtime to secure a 3-2 win at Chicago on Tuesday.

"I feel our team has been able to win key games. That's positive to me," first-year coach Patrick Roy told ESPN.com. "It shows the character of the team. It shows the leadership that we have. It shows that our guys care. It shows that our guys want to do well, and they want to get better, and they're not satisfied. Obviously, it makes me really proud of them."

Jamir Jagr, 41, leads the Devils with 38 points after scoring his 695th goal Tuesday and refuses to speak about his retirement plans.

"I've said many times, I'm not thinking about retiring yet," he told NHL.com. "I'm not counting my games yet, as long as I have fun."

Martin Brodeur only allowed one goal against the Canadiens Tuesday, but Corey Schneider  will get the start in net. 

Injury report, according to NHL.com:

"Devils forward Damien Brunner (knee) and defenseman Peter Harrold (foot) are on injured reserve. ... Avalanche defenseman Cory Sarich (back), goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere (back spasms) and center Paul Stastny (leg) are questionable. Defenseman Nate Guenin (bruised ankle) and forwards David Van der Gulik (undisclosed), PA Parenteau (knee) and Alex Tanguay (knee) are on injured reserve."
