Lily Allen Album 2014 Will Have A ‘Country-ish, Primal Scream-y’ Song; ‘Air Balloon’ Single To Drop March 2

Lily Allen's upcoming album of 2014 will have a very different sound to it than her previous two albums.

"The last couple [of albums] looked to the past for their influences, whether it was ska or reggae or whatever, but this one doesn't do that at all. There's one that has a quite country-ish, Primal Scream-y vibe to it - but that's about the extent of it," Lily Allen told NME.

Lily Allen's new album is due out spring 2014.

She also revealed that her third album is likely to spark some strong emotions from listeners.

"When you put something out there, people want to write about it. They want the hits, they want American Apparel to advertise on their blog. So, yeah, I'm sure people will find things to get angry about on the record," she said.

Allen will release a single from the album, "Air Balloon," on March 2. According to The Daily Mail, the video for "Air Balloon" is currently being filmed in South Africa.

Allen also confirmed in an interview with BBC Radio 1 that she has written a song for her upcoming album inspired by a Twitter feud with Azealia Banks, which occured in summer 2013, The Daily Mail reports.

Allen tweeted about this new track, warning: "If you thought the Bear and Hare was annoying, you won't want to watch this."

Lily Allen's two previous albums sold over five million copies worldwide and has had three No. 1 singles.
