Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Nokia Normandy's User Interface Screen-capped, Actually Mixes Android And Windows Phone Features

Probably one of the most anticipated upcoming Nokia phones in 2014 is the Normandy which is the company's first handset to be powered by Android.  Now, in another allegedly leaked image, we get to see the smartphone's user interface.

In a report by GSM Arena, notorious leakster EV Leaks tweeted a couple of images showing the Normandy's homescreen and notifications area.

First, the homescreen looks a lot like the Live Tiles of Windows Phone, but it has obviously been modified to fit one of Android's best features - customization.

Meanwhile, the notifications area is an entirely look altogether, as it seems like a cross breed between Windows Phone and Android. And the result is it looks amazing.

Notifications are expandable like Android's, with options which pertain to particular applications or games.

As it turns out, the Nokia Normandy would also be dual-SIM enabled as seen from the image.

Three months ago, the Android-powered handset was a myth and a even an impossible joke. Fast-forward to January 2014 and everyone is already talking about this Android-Windows Phone hybrid.

Let's see whether this droid actually makes a debut some time next month.
