Upcoming Android Tablets 2014: Samsung Announces Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 With Familiar Design, Sports Mid-range Specs

Samsung has done it again, once more, for the nth time around. The Korean manufacturer announced another device which is almost identical to another Samsung device, save for it ts model name. 

In a report by GSM Arena, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 which sounds like a fresh device that boasts midrange specs. However, it turns out that the only thing fresh about it is the brand name. 

As pointed out by some reporters, the Tab 3 Lite 7.0 looks almost identical to the previous generations of the Galaxy Tab 3 slates by Samsung. 

As for the specs, the Tab 3 Lite 7.0 has a 7-inch screen with WSVGA resolution, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and 1GB of RAM. Other hardware features include a low-end 2MP rear camera, an 8GB internal memory, and a 3,600mAh battery that promises juice life of up to 8 hours on video playback.

The Tab 3 Lite 7.0 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and with its set of specs we don't see it getting upgraded to Kitkat. But we can never be sure. 

According to the report, the upcoming Android tablet will be available internationally, though pricing has yet to be revealed.
