In a world where octa-core is already impressive, the Mac Pro can have up to 12-core, clocking in at 2.7GHz sporting the Intel Xeon E5. The unit has two dedicated graphic processors and inside the case, you can expand it with peripherals that connect via the fast Thunderbolt cable. It also has the latest versions of USB, HDMI, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

What the Wall Street Journal considers one of its “most brag-worthy advantage” is that the Mac Pro can run up to three Ultra HD (4K) displays, each with four times the resolution of your hi-def TV.

Such speed gives it an edge over numerous other machines including its consumer counterpart, the iMac and MacBook Pro.
