Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Release Date Already Set For Sony's Xperia SP, T, TX And V, Provides Performance Improvements

Recently, Sony is known for releasing and setting the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release date for its Xperia smartphones. Late last year, the updare graced several of the company's former flagship and higher midrange phones such as the Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and the Xperia Tablet Z.

Now, a new report from GSM Arena says the Japanese manufacturer is also gearing up to launch the last Jelly Bean update to its midrange and lower midrange handsets, the Xperia SP, T, TX, and V.

The update reportedly would bring the same changes to other Xperia devices which already received the version. This includes:

  • UI optimization
  • Smart Social Camera
  • Update Sony apps to latest versions
  • Xperia Themes for more customization options
  • Better STAMINA mode

Meanwhile, there are still no reports when Sony would update its devices to KitKat. Early in December last year, Sony released a list of devices that will be getting the latest Android version, but until now there's no word when the update will come out.

Have you updated your Xperia devices to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean already? Let us know what you think about it.
