Hannibal Season 2 Trailer Released [Video]; Things To Get Uglier In ‘2nd Course’, Bryan Fuller Gives Hint If Will Graham Did Kill People
Hannibal, the psychological thriller-horror television series from NBA, has released its season 2 trailer, a clip that pretty much sums up the development of Mads Mikkelsen's Hannibal Lecter. On the video, which runs for only 16 seconds, Hannibal is shown preparing food, carefully picking the ingredients for his new dish, just like what he always does in season one. However, at the 9-seconds mark, he brought out a human leg from a bag, which the video tagged, "For the 2nd Course." In the first season, the cannibalistic serial killer and culinarian is rarely shown holding human parts. The human leg could somehow mean that things will get a little gory.

Will Graham, played by Hugh Dancy, remains locked up in prison for a crime he didn't commit and Lecter's killings are expected to continue on the 2nd season. In another teaser photo, Dr. Alana Bloom (played by Caroline Dhavernas) and Special Agent-in-Charge Jack Crawford (played by Laurence Fishburne) are also shown behind bars, an indication that antagonist Lecter has owned them too.
Despite the teaser images and videos showing how powerful Hannibal Lecter can become, series creator Bryan Fuller said that Will and the rest of the 'good' guys will have their time to suppress the Chesapeake Ripper.
"Hannibal Lecter has won this round, certainly," Fuller said of season 1 as reported by TV Guide.
"But one of the exciting things moving forward with Season 2 is that Will has hit rock bottom. One of the great gifts that the universe can give somebody in a tumultuous state of mind is for them to hit rock bottom and be free. Now, Will has nothing to lose, and he will be a very dangerous dance partner for Hannibal Lecter."
When asked if viewers are right that Hannibal framed Will for all the murders, Fuller hinted that Will might have committed them, too.
wanted both of those things. We very carefully only showed pertinent information to the audience. I wanted it to be unclear whether Will could have done these things and also be unclear to Will Graham. Even though he may have the convictions of his investigation, he still has huge blank spots in his memory. But we essentially tell the audience that when Will left Abigail Hobbs, she had an ear. And the last person we saw her with both ears with was Hannibal.
