Denver Nuggets Nate Robinson Says He Wants To Play For All 30 NBA Teams, Can He Do it?

Nate Robinson has already played for six NBA teams in his nine years in the league. However, for him, that number of teams seems to be not enough. When asked if he wants to play for all the franchises in the league, the 29-year old Nuggets guard half-jokingly said he wants to do it.

"If I can be the first player to play for every team in the league, I want to do it," Robinson told Geoff Lepper of NBA.com.

Among the teams that have used the spitfire, 3× NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion's services are the New York Knicks that drafted him in 2005 though a trade with the Phoenix Suns, the Boston Celtics, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Golden State Warriors, and the Chicago Bulls.

So far, Robinson has had solid roles in all the teams he played for. Last year with the Chicago Bulls, he proved valuable for the Windy City as he helped carry the Derrick Rose-less squad into the second round of the playoffs against Brooklyn Nets. Now, in Denver, the 5'9 player out of University of Washington serves as the team's energizer and spark.

In Denver's Wednesday game against the peaking Golden State Warriors this week, Robinson played what could be the game of his life. He scored 14 4th quarter points to lead his team into victory against the Stephen Curry-led squad. He hit clutch shots, drove past defenders, and defended bigger guys. What's more impressive is that he did all that while grieving for her aunt who died the day before.

"I told the guys I really wanted to win this game in-particular," Robinson said. "It was big for me to come out and play for her and my family. My dad, it was tough on him losing his sister. He already lost his brother already. So it was just real tough coming out here at this time, dealing with a death in the family, just trying to keep everybody's spirits up. Tonight was a good win for her."
