Goldie Hawn To Return To Movies? Kate Hudson’s Mom Signs with CAA After Taking 14 Years Off

Goldie Hawn, who went from sexy Laugh-In comic to Academy Award winner, might be returning to making movies. Kate Hudson's mom switched talent agencies after a 14-year acting hiatus.

Goldie Hawn recently moved her representation from WME to CAA. Industry insiders are speculating that Goldie is making a move to get back on movies. Hawn, who has been Kurt Russell's longtime life partner, hasn't been on the big screen since 2002's "The Banger Sisters."  Goldie Hawn was nominated for a Best Actress (Motion Picture Musical or Comedy) Golden Globe Award for that.

Goldie Hawn switched talent agencies from William Morris Endeavor (WME) to Creative Arts Agency (CAA). Before she bowed out, Hawn was set to star in the pilot of HBO's "The Viagra Diaries," which was created by Darren Starr of "Sex and the City" and co-starred Bridesmaids' Wendi McLendon-Covey.

Goldie Hawn is well known for "Private Benjamin," "Overboard" with Kurt Russell and "The First Wives Club." She made the classic films "Cactus Flower," "Butterflies Are Free," "Foul Play" with Chevy Chase and "Best Friends." She most recently voiced Peggy McGee in a 2013 episode of Disney Channel's "Phineas and Ferb." She's also written number books like the 2005 memoir "A Lotus Grows in the Mud."

Goldie spent the last 11 years working for her Hawn Foundation, which she created in 2003 to focus on children and education. During The World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Hawn and Mark Bertolini announced they will launch "Mindful Works" a collaboration between Aetna and The Hawn Foundation focused on globally scaling MindUP.
