Anime Freak News: A new "Black Butler" anime has been greenlit. As Black Butler moves into its third season, it could continue adapting parts of the original manga. Details about the new series have not been released. A live action film adaptation of Yana Toboso's manga Black Butler open tomorrow, Jan. 18. The 18th volume of the Black Butler manga will ship in Japan tomorrow as well. 

According to the February issue of Square Enix's Monthly GFantasy, which features 'Black Butler' character Sebastian Michaelis on the cover, the anime series will move forward to a third season, Black Butler came from the manga "Kuroshitsuji," which means "Black Butler" in English. 

Otakus find this news sparkly, "Black Butler" (Kuroshitsuji) is a classic anime, along with "Fullmetal Alchemist" (and "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood"), "Soul Eater," "Bleach, Naruto," "One Piece," "Ouran High School Host Club" (OHSHC) and "Fruits Basket." 

The manga "Black Butler" is about a boy named Ciel Phantonhive who summons a demon, Sebastian Michealis. They sign a contract stipulating that Sebastian must be Ciel's demon butler and protect Ciel until they get vengeance on the people who killed Ciel's parents when he was a little boy.  The demonic seal is on one of his eyes, which is why he wears an eye patch all the time.  The demon butler's seal is on his hand, which why he wears gloves. Whenever Ciel summons him, the butler takes his gloves off in the most sexy way possible. (Way to go, Yana Toboso.)  Ciel's parents were very wealthy and owned a toy production called "Funtom toy productions."  They made toys/games/etc for young children.

The new Black Butler Manga series might become canon soon.

Spoilers: Alois Trancey messes things up with his own demon butler Claude (who is a fabulous tap dancer, by the way.)  His makes things difficult for Claude and Sebastian who both, it turns out, hate each other and who both want to eat Ciel's Soul, by merging Alois and Ciel together. 

As I type this I'm listening to "Bird", "Monochrome no kiss", and "Shiver" which are all theme songs to the anime.
