HTC One X+ Update: Former HTC Flagship For AT&T Gets The Android 4.2.2 Treatment, Improved Sense Version

Released in 2012, the One X+ from HTC cannot be considered an outdated Android phone based on its specs.  However, a lot of its owners have been waiting for the HTC One X+ update that will make their smartphones relevant and smooth with the help of improvements and tweaks.

Now, a new report from Android Authority states that the AT&T version of the HTC One X+ can now be updated to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean via OTA. According to the report, some of the improvements and changes include the improved Sense 5.0, that brings in HTC BlinkFeed and HTC Gallery.

In case you did not know, the HTC One X+ is one of the first droids to get a quad-core CPU processor together with a refreshed matte covered design. While the Taiwanese manufacturer did not hit gold when it released the handset, it certainly added to the options of consumers back then.

Now that it has received Android 4.2.2 as well as Sense 5.0, at least it would not too far behind the One family that is already promised the KitKat update.
