Shailene Woodley will certainly have a busy year now that she'll be the heroines of two highly-anticipated movies based on books: 'Divergent' and 'The Fault in Our Stars'.

The two movies will be shown this year, that's why the 22-year-old actress has to be present in their worldwide promotions. Is there a possibility that her characters in the two films as well as her recent role in 'The Spectacular Now' will have conflicting grounds?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Woodley explains that her three roles are not similar to each other:

"I don't think so. I wouldn't say that Aimee's a loner. I think that she's somebody who chooses not to have a lot of friends because she just doesn't have anything in common with a lot of high school kids. She's got an old soul, and she's incredibly wise and intelligent, and is an introvert. I think that Tris isn't a loner; she's just from a faction that doesn't lend to compassionate friendships. And I think that Hazel isn't a loner, I think she's somebody that by circumstance isn't around a lot of people often. So I actually don't think there's much correlation between any of them, apart from the fact that they're all around the same age."

Tris is her character in Veronica Roth's 'Divergent' which revolves around a futuristic America which relies on separating its people in five ideological factions to uphold peace and stability. On the other hand, Hazel is her character in John Green's 'The Fault in Our Stars' which will portray an unusual love story between two cancer-stricken teenagers.

Woodley likewise addressed her fascination for pixie cuts when she attended the 2013 Gotham Independent Film Awards: "I know, it's strange everybody's doing it, I'm into it. I love having my short hair, I'm into it."

'Divergent' will hit cinema screens on March 21 and 'The Fault in Our Stars' will open on June 6.
