It was a 4-2 Stanley Cup series victory for the Blackhawks in June and now Boston gets a chance to go in the house of the champs and pay them some revenge for the finals loss.
"I think it's going to be special," Blackhawks forward Bryan Bickell, who scored the first of those two goals, told ESPN.com. "To have the series like we did, there's going to be emotion in this game. It's going to be an intense game. I know they're not happy about losing. They're going to come back and give it everything they've got."
Both teams won in overtime to advance to the Stanley Cup and both teams are coming off 4-2 victories heading into this showdown. The Blackhawks have barely lost at home, posting a 17-3-7 home record, but might not have an opponent like this come into their building as the Bruins watch Chicago hoist the Stanley Cup.
"Everybody comes into this building and playing us as the defending Stanley Cup champion, everybody's got their game high," Marian Hossa told ESPN.com.
Boston forward Patrice Bergeron admitted that not winning the Stanley Cup is on his mind and the minds of his teammates.
"It's hard still. It hurts to see that 2013 on the wall there, ya know? But it's in the past and you move on," Bergeron told the team's official Twitter account. "Obviously there's going to be some emotions and an atmosphere that's going to be great ... We need to make sure we're ready."
