“I'm just going out there, playing freely, doing whatever coach (Tom Thibodeau) needs me to do, whatever my teammates need me to do,” Augustin said. “Basically, just trying to get them the ball, trying to get them open. At the same time, coach wanted me to look (to score) for myself.”

The Lakers, meanwhile, has been getting their rhythm back after a major slump that almost dropped them down of the league, as they look to get their third straight win.

The Lakers won against Boston on Friday to spoil the return of Rondo, and defeated the Atlantic Division leader Toronto Raptors in their last game where Pau Gasol scored 22 points while averaging 20.9 points during their losing skid.

“It's really gratifying to win back-to-back games on the road, especially with the way we've been struggling,” said Gasol. “I'm just really proud of the guys. They're stepping up, they're bringing the effort, bringing the intensity, bringing the focus and not wanting to give up.”

“Nick's been doing it all year and he just keeps going,” coach Mike D'Antoni said.
