Maleficent Movie Trailer [Watch Video Here]:

Disney Channel has debuted an all new "sneak peek" from Angelina Jolie's comeback movie "Maleficent" during the premiere of the original Disney movie "Cloud 9."

The trailer featured footage from the original 1959 classic "Sleeping Beauty" transitioning into the spell-bounding world of "Maleficent."

The exclusive one and a half footage features Disney's greatest evil villain Maleficent appearing on the infant Princess Aurora's welcoming as she cast her spell and leaves the scene with a dramatic green smoke effect.

"Maleficent" is the first Disney movie to feature the story of a villain from Disney's classic fairy tale. This will be Angelina Jolie's come back film after a hiatus of four years from the lime light. The film will also feature Ange's youngest daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt as the young Princess Aurora as shown in the first "Maleficent" movie trailer.

Disney's official synopsis of Maleficent:

A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land's fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal - an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king's successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom - and perhaps to Maleficent's true happiness as well.

Maleficent movie also stars Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora together with Sharlto Copley playing the King and a the villain, as the movie is shown from Maleficen't perspective, will be hitting theaters nationwide on May 30 on both 3D and 2D.
