Min Dohee of the K-pop girl group Tiny-G is hoping that it won't be long before she is performing with her bandmates again.

"I hope that Tiny-G will get closer to the public in 2014," Dohee said, in an interview earlier this week with the Korean publication Newsen.

The singer-turned-actress claims she is relieved to be resuming her activities with the group, after her stint playing the character of Jo Yoon Jin in the smash Korean television drama "Reply 1994."

When asked if her character's consistent use of foul language troubled her, Dohee said that it's actually pretty close to her own vernacular.

"I get asked many times if I get pressured over my 'swearing' image despite that fact that I'm a member of a girl group," she said. "But that's just how I am."

"I guess swearing could give a girl a bad image, but I think that's what made people remember Yoon Jin," she added.

"I don't try to shun the image, although I'm not intending on carrying on the image forever. It also shows the true side of me."

But when Tiny-G does return to the stage, Dohee promised that she would be on her best behavior.

"I will try to behave more modestly when I'm working as a member of Tiny-G," she said.

Dohee also expressed her gratitude to Tiny-G supporters.

"I really want to thank the fans for continuing to show their love and support and sending fan letters throughout last year, even though we weren't very active," she said.

"I don't know how to express my gratitude. I was able to withstand the hardships and feel twice as happy when things went well, all thanks to the fans."

She also had a message to "Reply 1994" viewers.

"I hope you will continue to love the dancing on the stage Dohee, just like the acting Dohee," she said.

The record label GNG Production created Tiny-G in 2012. Their debut single, entitled "Tiny-G," was released later that year.

"Reply 1994" ran for 21 episodes on the tvN network between October and December.

The show's series finale garnered the highest ratings ever for a Korean drama, according to the publication Korea JoongAng.
