The season 3 of "Suits" will have a very important flashback to a time when Harvey Specter was still going up in the world and how he became what he is today.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Gabriel Macht-who plays Harvey Specter in the show-revealed that the show will jump back 10 years in what he described as "sort of an origin story."

"We see where Harvey was when he was working for the district attorney. Gary Cole, who played the DA in season one, comes back in the season three flashback and becomes involved in the case Harvey's taken on," he said.

"We see how Harvey and the DA had a very strong relationship that then splintered off, and we see the origin of Harvey and Donna, and why they are the way they are," Gabriel Macht added.

Gabriel Macht said that in the flashback scene, the relationship between Harvey Specter and his secretary Donna had "some fire," which makes "Suits" season 3 very interesting.

"And you'll see the reasons why they've had to put it at bay, I'll leave it at that!" Gabriel Macht told Digital Spy.

Season 3 of "Suits" left a pretty huge cliffhanger. Right before the mid-season break, it was revealed that when Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) went snooping around in the Harvard Law School file room, he did not find a single document detailing the academic records of Ross (Patrick J. Adams).

Will the weasly Litt use his wiles to uncover Ross' secret, that he wasn't really a lawyer in the first place? And will Harvey Specter finally let go of his protégé after knowing that he turned his back on him?

Meanwhile, the cast of "Suits," expected to be headlined by Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams, will answer questions from university students as the mid-season premiere will be screened in selected schools across America, according toHypable.com. "Suits" will return on March 6, 2014.
